Normally I am not one to endorse petitions, but this is a critical time in Church history and me must not remain silent. HOWEVER, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE SHOULD BE STUPID AND RISK LOSING OUR JOBS OVER A PETITION WHICH IS MOSTLY SYMBOLIC. SEE VERY IMPORTANT WARNING BELOW.

[EDIT 8/16/14:
VERY IMPORTANT. You should be aware that all the information you provide including "full name" and "city, state" will be DISPLAYED PUBLICLY. Despite the footnote that implies that the "full name" is "not displayed publicly". I find this highly misleading. Given that Christopher Ferrara is a lawyer I am very surprised and disappointed that he did not personally take the time to make this explicitly very clear. Some people could potentially lose their jobs for the mere act of signing this petition. So you should be well aware of this before signing and seriously consider the legal and personal implications and potential consequences. To view the list of names simply click on the "Signatures" button.]

The Crisis of the Synod on the Family
-
Over the next two months the microbes of the neo-Modernist rebound infection that is the “Francis effect” will be moving rapidly toward the site of what could be a devastating flare-up of the infection: the Extraordinary Synod on the Family. First they came for the Roman Rite, which they destroyed. Then they came for the Church Militant, which they disarmed and surrendered to the spirit of the age. Now, at the Synod, which threatens to become Vatican II rebooted, progressivist bishops and their apparatchiks will be coming for the moral law itself under the guise of a search for “pastoral solutions” to “challenges facing the family”—more of the seditious slogans by which the ideology of Vatican-II-ism has eclipsed the doctrines of the Faith.

  2. After quickly considering the potential damage which could be caused by signing this petition due to the public exposure of the full names and city, state of the signers I have renamed this article to, "Please DON'T sign the petition to Stop the Synod on the Family at the Remnant".

Please refer to the fully revised article. All additional statements are in CAPS including the change to the title which simply consists in the addition of the word DON'T.

How could Chris Ferrara be so STUPID! I'm totally disappointed! Nice way to expose people and get them fired Chris!

TO THE REMNANT: Please remove the ability to view the names of those who have signed NOW!

If this was your original intention then you have the responsibity to fully inform those signing that ALL of the information provided will be publicly available at the clidk of a button.

I'm sure bergoglio will be very happy to get hold of this list. Did you even think about that Chris???

My deepest apologies to all those who have already signed this petition due to my former endorsement. I only just now realized that the names were publicly visible. Had I realized this from the beginning I would never have endorsed this petition. Again, my deepest and most sincere apology for my part in promoting this petition drive with so much more potential for harm than for good.
